At 06:00 BST on August 25, the Central Meteorological Observatory (CMO) continued to issue a Yellow Typhoon Warning:

At 05:00 this morning (25th), the center of this year's Typhoon No. 19 "Zitan" (tropical storm intensity) was located over the Beibu Gulf sea surface approximately 250 km south-southwest of Beihai City, Guangxi, at 19.5°N, 108.0°E. Maximum winds near the center reached Force 9 (23 m/s), with a central minimum pressure of 990 hPa. The radius of the Force 7 wind field was 100–150 km.

"Zitan" is expected to move slowly east-northeast at 5–10 km/h with little change in intensity. It will make landfall along the coast from southeastern Guangxi to the western side of Guangdong's Leizhou Peninsula between the night of the 25th and the daytime of the 26th, at tropical storm intensity (Force 8–9, 18–23 m/s).

This year's Typhoon No. 18 "Saudel" weakened from super typhoon to severe typhoon this morning. At 05:00, its center was located over the northwestern Pacific Ocean approximately 1,020 km east of Taipei City, Taiwan Province, at 25.8°N, 131.7°E. Maximum winds near the center reached Force 15 (48 m/s), with a central minimum pressure of 945 hPa. The radius of the Force 7 wind field was 350–400 km, Force 10 was 120–150 km, and Force 12 was 50–60 km.

"Saudel" is expected to move west-northwest at 20–25 km/h with little change in intensity. After entering the East China Sea on the 26th, it will gradually turn west-southwest and approach the coastal areas of Zhejiang and Fujian.

Wind Forecast: From 08:00 on August 25 to 08:00 on August 26, the Beibu Gulf, most of the South China Sea, the Bashi Channel, the Taiwan Strait, the sea east of Taiwan, the eastern East China Sea, as well as the coasts of Guangxi, the Leizhou Peninsula of Guangdong, and Hainan Island will experience Force 6–8 winds with gusts up to Force 9–10. Some sea areas in the Beibu Gulf and the northwestern South China Sea will see Force 9 winds with gusts up to Force 10–11, while some areas in the eastern East China Sea will experience Force 9–12 winds with gusts up to Force 13–14.

Rainfall Forecast: From 08:00 on August 25 to 08:00 on August 26, most of Fujian, southeastern Zhejiang, southern and eastern Jiangxi, southern Hunan, central and eastern Guangdong, Taiwan Island, and western Hainan Island will experience heavy to torrential rain. Parts of northwestern and eastern Fujian, eastern Jiangxi, northern Guangdong, and northwestern Hainan Island will see extremely heavy rainstorms, with localized catastrophic downpours of 250–400 mm.

Defense Guidelines:

Government departments and relevant agencies shall carry out typhoon emergency response duties.

Water operations and passing vessels in affected waters shall return to harbor for shelter; port facilities shall be reinforced to prevent drifting, grounding, and collisions. Marine ranches shall reinforce facilities and conduct early harvesting where safe to do so.

Large indoor and outdoor gatherings and high-altitude outdoor hazardous operations shall be suspended.

Reinforce or dismantle structures vulnerable to wind damage. People should avoid going out unnecessarily and remain in wind-safe locations as much as possible. Ensure elderly and children stay in the safest places at home; personnel in dangerous buildings shall be relocated promptly. When the typhoon center passes, winds may decrease or pause temporarily—remember that strong winds will return suddenly. Continue sheltering in safe locations, and relocate those in dangerous housing.

Relevant areas should guard against mountain torrents and geological disasters triggered by heavy precipitation.

Typhoon "Atsani" Declassified

This year's Typhoon No. 21 "Atsani" weakened significantly over the northwestern Pacific this morning, and its circulation center has become nearly indistinguishable. The CMO declassified it at 05:00 this morning.
